Workshop on Creative Approach to Science Communication

From the detailed work of research to the practice of communicating results to diverse audiences, creativity is an essential part of science. This webinar explores the creative dimensions that lie at the heart of science communication and examines how explicitly integrating creativity can help scientists—especially women in STEM—share their stories, research, and perspectives more effectively.

In the first part of the webinar, Dr. Anatolli Kozlov will provide a conceptual overview of how creativity can be understood in the context of science communication. Drawing on parallels between science and art, we will unpack several key dimensions of creativity relevant to this field.

The second part will involve hands-on exercises and tools to help participants ideate and design their own creative science communication projects. The webinar will conclude with a facilitated group discussion, during which participants will share insights and articulate practical takeaways.

This webinar is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

How Women In STEM Can Lead Without Burning Out

How Women In STEM Can Lead Without Burning Out

In STEM leadership, precision, high standards, and attention to detail are essential—but when those traits tip into perfectionism, they can quietly undermine confidence, health, and innovation. For many high-achieving women, the drive to excel comes with a hidden cost: burnout, stalled creativity, and the feeling that success is never quite enough.

In this engaging and science-backed session, Dr. Amy Loden Tiffany will help you recognize the perfectionist patterns that keep you overworked and unsatisfied, understand why high performers—especially women in STEM—are more vulnerable to chronic stress, and adopt practical strategies to lead with both excellence and ease. You’ll discover how to shift from all-or-nothing thinking to steady, sustainable growth that fuels both your career and your well-being.

This webinar is FREE for members and $29 for non-members.
